I used to walk this trail to see Penny.
This is where she lives... behind the old plantation mansion.
They call it "Rose Hill." It's beautiful!
Shhhh... She hasn't seen me yet!
I whistled, just like I always have and she immediately ran to me!
(No this is not a magazine ad!)
She was so excited to see me!

It must have been so bittersweet to see her and then have to leave. She looks well fed doesn't she? Sounds like you had a great vacation! The pictures of the baby are so sweet...I wasn't expecting him to be quite so big...I still picture him in my mind as a newborn...I guess I am a little off:)
