Household Tip

I keep my honey jar on the stove. The heat from cooking keeps it from turning to sugar.

Have you got a household tip to share?

If you run out of brown sugar. You can make it by adding a little molasses to regular sugar and stirring it until it is the shade of brown that you want. Of course you have to keep molasses on hand or this won't be do-able.

I wish I had known that yesterday... then again, I guess I didn't have molasses then either. Oh well. Thanks for the tip.

I think I did a whole blog post on the value of Listerine. It was once used to sanitize operating rooms- that was many moons ago for sure.. but that doesn't lessen the fact that it has major antiseptic properties.. and the smell is clean.
So.. soak your toothbrush in it and kill the viruses we've been passing around..
wipe the doorknobs with it too..
it is antibacterial and antiviral.. and cheap at the dollar store.

Oh good about the honey! Ours rarely gets old enough to crystallize but if it does start to get dodgy looking I'll know what to do!

My tip is to use hair conditioner as shaving cream. You have it anyway and it leaves your skin feeling soft and soothed.
