There is a PERFECT EXAMPLE to be recognized. When we experience the ups and downs of life, why should we share those with God? Simple. He can relate because he has "been there - done that." He has experienced life as we have. He endured child-birth. He walked the earth and interacted with many. He experienced emotion... happy and sad and in between. He endured torture and death to set the ultimate example. The best part of all of this... HE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO IT!!!! We can ask why for forever and a day and the answer will simply be "Because he loves us." Can we truly fathom the depth of this? I don't think so. So there we have the answer, yet we still wonder "why?".
Although the death of Christ is the key to the salvation of mankind, I think the example he has set is most profound. Christianity is the ONLY religion that recognizes such an example of God actually jumping into our shoes, walking a mile, and then paying our debt in full. Other religions may recognize a "higher power" but none of these other gods have endured life as we see it.
